Have I Been Affected?
Millions of people are affected by someone else's drinking. Because alcoholism is a "family disease", it affects each member of the family in a different way. We learn to anticipate when problems are going to happen, and we change our behavior to avoid a fight, or to prevent an ugly scene. These changes are subtle, and we may not feel them happening.
